VP Finance Job Description

VP of Finance duties generally include financial analysis and spend management controls, budget and forecast and variance analyses. The VP of Finance usually oversees finance headcount and contingent labor administration and approval – monthly tracking / reporting. Active participation in office space planning and management
Project and portfolio management oversight in the context of resource planning and manpower billing.

  • Finance or an Accounting Degree
  • Professional Designation
  • Strong analytical and financial skills
  • Strong communication / interpersonal skills to be able to interact at all levels and be effective as part of a broader team of global business managers
  • Ability to formulate and deliver senior management level presentations
  • Expertise in understanding of technology concepts and terminology
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Knowledge of or experience with capital funding and sourcing
