PTC appoints Brenda Kilger as Candidate Ombudsman

PTC is pleased to announce the creation of a brand new role within our management team. Brenda Kilger will be taking on the position of Ombudsman, with the vision to foster confidence in PTC by promoting the principles of fairness, integrity and unparalleled service.

Increasingly, many private companies, universities and government agencies are electing to use the role of ombudsman (or an ombudsman department) which serves internal employees or other constituencies.

Brenda will act as a candidate representative to address concerns and escalate these matters when necessary. The role is structured to function independently by acting as a direct liaison between candidates and the partners.

Brenda has been actively involved in the recruiting industry since 1995, which has given her the tools and experience needed to push forward in this initiative. Prior to taking on this new role, Brenda was PTC’s Recruiting Manager, during which time she recognized the need to propel the organization towards creating business practices so interesting, noteworthy and remarkable, that our candidates will feel that they truly are people that count.

Brenda’s past credits include working in the offices of The Speaker of the House of Commons and that of the Chief Government Whip, during which time she honed a keen sense of negotiating and conflict resolution. Brenda’s persuasive communication skills, coupled with her ability to listen to the needs of others will help make her role as ombudsman a success.

Watch out for future communications from either Brenda directly, or from one of our outstanding candidate services consultants. You can also contact Brenda at brendak@ptcaccounting.com should you have any questions, comments or concerns about your experience with PTC.
