Bringing in a contractor with knowledge that your current employees don’t have is a great benefit to your team—everyone can gain from a new skill set.

Some urgent need has occurred and they need a resource urgently to solve the problem

Require the expertise of an individual that has a proven track record and experience for a project.  A skill that can not be found internally, a skill that once utilized is no longer required on an ongoing day to day basis.
